A New Chapter Begins in Tepic
After months of prayer, preparation, and many goodbyes, our family will move to Tepic on March 28.

We are in the final stretch before arriving in Tepic, our move is scheduled for March 28, and it is difficult to fully express how grateful and excited we feel.

The journey to this point has been long and full of meaningful moments, many good things and also many goodbyes. The goodbyes have not always been easy, but they remind us that following God's call is always worth it. Throughout this entire process we have clearly seen God’s favor in our lives. In countless details along the way the Lord has been weaving things together so this step could unfold well. For us, this is a beautiful confirmation that we are walking in His will, and that fills us with joy as we continue moving forward.

The Lord is opening doors for us to arrive in Tepic on March 28, rent an Airbnb, and from there begin looking for the place that will become both our home and the pastoral center for STS Tepic. The logistics of the move are complex because first our family will travel and later the rest of our belongings will follow, but this approach is worth it because it gives us the flexibility to make wise decisions and find the right place from which to serve for the next few years.

In the middle of this transition our children have been able to continue their education without interruption (this truly feels like a miracle from God). Our oldest son Josué will remain in Mazatlán as he begins his studies at the University of Mazatlán (a new season for him and for us as parents). This is an important step in his life, and we are grateful to see the Lord opening this path for him. At the same time our move to Tepic will allow us to reconnect with pastors we already know and begin building new relationships in the region.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been praying for our family during this season. We have seen God’s hand in many ways. One encouraging sign is that the number of people praying for us has nearly doubled, and that is truly beautiful. As of today we have reached about 70% of the financial support our family needs. While we still have a way to go, during the past year God has faithfully provided through the generosity and prayers of many people walking alongside us in this journey, helping us grow from 42% to 70%. We continue trusting the Lord to complete this provision as well, since we are still about $1,500 USD per month away from reaching our full support goal.

Thank you for walking with us in this journey. We are excited for what God is preparing in Tepic, and we are grateful that we do not walk this road alone.

Our church, Amor y Libertad, has begun supporting us with prayer and practical resources. It is a blessing to have the backing of our church here in Mexico.

As a family, we are all supporting Josué in this new season of life in Mazatlán, where he will be studying and working.
